✈️ The opportunity

As a Seaplane Pilot, you’ll conduct single-pilot float operations on scenic tourism flights, ensuring uncompromising safety, exceptional guest care, and polished communication from dock to dock. You’ll follow company procedures and exercise sound judgment while delivering a signature Kimberley experience.

🧭 What you’ll do

  • Operate the C208 Caravan on scenic flights across the Horizontal Falls region and Broome coastline.
  • Lead safe, efficient single-pilot floatplane operations, managing both aircraft and passenger safety.
  • Adhere to all company procedures, manuals, and reasonable instructions, applying strong operational judgment.
  • Engage guests with professional commentary and hospitality to deliver memorable, high-quality experiences.

🧰 What you’ll bring

  • Licences & medical: CASA Part 61 CPL, CASA Class 1 Medical, current Aeroplane Flight Review (AFR).
  • Hours: Minimum 1,500 total flight hours and 350 hours float time. 50 hours on C208 desirable.
  • Ratings/endorsements: Single‑engine aeroplane class rating; Cessna 208 (C208); Floatplane (FLP); Gas Turbine Engine (GTE); Manual Propeller Pitch Control (MPPC); Retractable Undercarriage (RU).
  • Highly regarded: Flight Instructor Rating, Night VFR Rating, Single Engine Command Instrument Rating.
  • Attributes: Enthusiastic, self‑motivated, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong safety mindset, confident independent decision‑maker in single‑pilot operations.
  • Compliance: Ability to hold an ASIC and complete a pre‑employment drug and alcohol test.
