Chart Thailand’s turquoise coastlines and island waterways with Thai Seaplane. We’re seeking an accomplished Captain to lead safe, smooth, and memorable amphibious C-208 operations across Southern Thailand from our Krabi base.

✈️ The opportunity

As Seaplane Captain, you will command amphibious C-208 flights connecting beaches, marinas, and runways throughout Southern Thailand. You’ll blend precision airmanship with warm, guest-focused service, ensuring every flight is conducted safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory and company standards.

🧭 What you’ll do

  • Operate commercial amphibious C-208 flights across Southern Thailand, executing both water and runway operations to SOPs.
  • Lead all phases of flight planning and decision-making, including performance, weight and balance, weather, tides, and NOTAMs.
  • Conduct safe water operations: docking, mooring, ramp/beach operations, passenger loading, and briefings.
  • Maintain the highest safety standards, contributing to SMS, risk assessments, and continuous improvement.
  • Deliver exceptional passenger experience with clear, courteous communication and hospitality.
  • Coordinate closely with operations and maintenance for dispatch reliability and timely defect reporting.
  • Mentor and support crewmembers; participate in training activities where qualified.

🧰 Minimum requirements

  • Valid ATPL issued by ICAO, FAA, or EASA.
  • Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
  • Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time.
  • At least 1,500 hours PIC on seaplanes.
  • At least 500 hours PIC on the C-208.
  • Current C-208 type rating with a recent flight on type within 90 days.
  • ICAO English proficiency level 5 or higher.
  • Strong situational awareness, sound decision-making, and excellent communication skills.
  • Unwavering commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

  • TRI/TRE on C-208.
