Join a professional flight department based at Spirit of St. Louis Airport (SUS) in Chesterfield, Missouri. As a First Officer on a versatile business jet fleet, you will help deliver safe, polished, and efficient operations for discerning clients. This is a permanent position welcoming non-type-rated pilots—type training provided.
🧭 The Opportunity
As a Business Jet First Officer, you will partner with the Captain to execute every flight with precision and a client-first mindset. You’ll apply strong airmanship, sound judgment, and exceptional communication to ensure safe operations in a dynamic corporate/charter environment.
🧰 What You’ll Do
- Support all phases of flight: planning, performance, fuel, weight & balance, and FMS programming.
- Execute thorough preflight and postflight inspections; complete checklists and monitor aircraft systems.
- Operate in full compliance with company SOPs, FAA regulations, and a robust safety management culture.
- Deliver professional, discreet service to owners and charter guests while maintaining cabin and cockpit standards.
- Collaborate closely with the Captain, maintenance, and dispatch, demonstrating strong CRM at all times.
- Prepare accurate logs and reports; leverage Microsoft Office or related software for documentation.
- Adapt to changing conditions (weather, reroutes, client needs) with calm, solutions-focused decision-making.
- Participate in initial and recurrent training, including type-specific training as assigned.
🌟 Minimum Requirements
- FAA CPL with IR and ME.
- FAA Class 1 Medical.
- Total time: 1000 hours.
- PIC time: 500 hours.
- Thorough knowledge of flight operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Willing to relocate within a one-hour drive of Spirit of St. Louis Airport (SUS), Chesterfield, MO.
- Visa sponsorship not provided.
🌟 Preferred Qualifications
- ATP Certificate.
- 150 hours multi-engine flight time.
- Charter or other corporate flight experience.

- Type Rating: Not required; training provided (NTR)
