Business Jet Captain – Part 135 Charter (Multiple Types)

Hera Flight, a business aviation operator based in St. Petersburg, Florida, is hiring experienced Captains to fly multiple business jet types on FAR Part 135 charter operations. If you thrive in a dynamic, customer-focused environment and are ready to captain international trips, we want to meet you.

  • Roster: 8 on / 6 off
  • License: FAA ATP with valid Class 1 Medical
  • Eligibility: Legal right to live and work in the United States; valid passport

✈️ What you’ll do

  • Operate various business jet aircraft as Captain on Part 135 charter missions.
  • Conduct comprehensive pre-flight inspections, performance planning, and crew briefings.
  • Lead effective CRM and deliver exceptional customer service on every leg.
  • Complete all required paperwork, flight logs, and regulatory reports accurately.
  • Execute international, multi-country trips—often several in a single day.
  • Ensure strict compliance with FAA regulations, company SOPs, and safety procedures.

🧰 What you bring

  • FAA ATP and Class 1 Medical.
  • Minimum 4,000 total hours; 2,500 PIC; 2,500 multi-engine; 1,000 jet.
  • Proven Part 135 experience; ability to pass FAR 135.293 and 135.299 check rides.
  • Ability to pass simulator training as PIC; 250 hours in type preferred but not required.
  • Current passport; no background issues preventing international entry.
  • Clean safety record: no accidents, incidents, or FAA actions within the last 5 years.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test, 10-year criminal background check, and DMV check; valid driver’s license; employment verification.
  • Proficient English communication; comfortable with computer and iPad applications.
  • Self-starter with strong leadership, crew management, and customer-service skills.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
