Business Jet Captain – Global Express & Citation (Sunshine Coast)

Machjet International is seeking experienced Captains to operate our business jet fleet on VIP, corporate, and special-mission operations across Australia and abroad. These are onsite, permanent full-time roles based at the Sunshine Coast with close collaboration across our Sunshine Coast and Cairns bases. Safety, professionalism, and service excellence sit at the heart of everything we do.

  • Aircraft: Bombardier Global Express & Cessna Citation C525
  • Operations: VIP, corporate, and special-mission
  • License required: CPL (or higher)
  • Employment: Permanent, Full-time

🧭 What you’ll do

  • Command Global Express and Citation C525 aircraft as PIC on domestic and international missions.
  • Deliver a premium, discreet service to VIP and corporate clients while maintaining uncompromising safety standards.
  • Plan and execute flights in diverse environments, including special-mission operations.
  • Lead the crew, ensuring SOP adherence, robust decision-making, and efficient cockpit resource management.
  • Champion safety, reliability, and continuous improvement within the company’s SMS and QA frameworks.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Client Services to ensure mission readiness and on-time performance.

  • Captain rank with proven PIC experience.
  • Fixed‑wing jet operations background with strong procedural discipline.
  • CPL or higher licence.
  • Demonstrated, measurable focus on safety, reliability, and professional standards.
  • Commitment to an onsite, permanent full-time roster and readiness for domestic/international travel.
  • Excellent client-facing communication and a service-first mindset.
