GTA Air is hiring a skilled pilot to operate Beechcraft Bonanza and Baron aircraft on package-focused routes from our IAD base in Washington, DC. This role is ideal for a professional aviator who thrives on precision IFR flying, navigates complex airspace with confidence, and delivers reliable cargo operations in all seasons.

🧭 What You’ll Do

• Operate Bonanza and Baron aircraft on scheduled and on-call package missions originating from IAD.
• Maintain sharp IFR proficiency and perform safely in complex airspace and varied weather conditions.
• Meet a strict 1-hour Wheels Up Time requirement—be airborne within 60 minutes of callout.
• Uphold GTA Air’s safety culture while providing professional, customer-focused cargo service in a relaxed team atmosphere.
• Handle aircraft loading needs as required, including lifting 75 pounds or more.

🧰 What You’ll Bring

• Certificates: Commercial Pilot Certificate (CPL) with Instrument Rating.
• Total Time: 1,200 hours total flight time.
• Experience Minimums:
  • 500 hours cross-country
  • 100 hours night
  • 75 hours instrument, including 50 hours actual
• Documented ability to operate confidently in complex, high-density airspace and adverse weather.
• Compliance with PRIA and DOT drug and alcohol testing regulations.
• Valid driver’s license and the legal right to work in the United States.
• Ability to meet demanding physical requirements, including regularly lifting 75+ pounds.
• Reliability and time management to meet the 1-hour Wheels Up Time standard.

🌟 Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $60,000
• IAD Base Pay: Additional $20,000
• Annual Bonus: Typically $1,000–$9,000
• Insurance: Health, dental, and vision
• Time Off: Paid company holidays; vacation and sick time accrued annually

📍 Location & Operating Environment

Based at IAD in Washington, DC, you’ll operate primarily under IFR within some of the nation’s most complex airspace. Success in this role requires disciplined procedures, clear communication, and readiness to launch within one hour of callout.
