Avcon Jet, a leading Austrian-headquartered business aviation company, is seeking an experienced Captain to join our Bombardier Global Express (BD-700) operation in India. You’ll fly both Classic and Vision variants (preferred), deliver exceptional client service, and thrive in a people-focused, international environment. The position is India-based on a UAE employment contract with a 20/10 roster.

  • Roster: 20/10 (20 days on / 10 days off)
  • Minimum Hours: 4,000 total | 1,000 PIC | 150 on type (min.)
  • Licence: EASA / FAA / ICAO ATPL or CPL/IR with ATPL theory credits + Class 1 Medical

✈️ Role snapshot

Command Avcon Jet’s BD-700 Global Express fleet in business aviation operations across an international network. You’ll set the tone for safety, professionalism, and premium client experience on every mission.

🧭 What you’ll do

  • Serve as PIC on the Bombardier Global Express (Classic & Vision) for international missions.
  • Lead the safe conduct of flights end-to-end: planning, performance, fuel, weather, and regulatory compliance.
  • Operate to the highest standards of airmanship, adhering to company SOPs and all applicable regulations.
  • Champion CRM, mentor crew, and foster a just culture within the SMS.
  • Coordinate with OCC, maintenance, and ground handling to ensure punctual, seamless operations.
  • Deliver discreet, world‑class service and represent Avcon Jet professionally with clients and stakeholders.

🧰 What you bring

  • Current type rating on the Bombardier BD-700 (Global Express family); minimum 150 hours on type.
  • Minimum 4,000 hours total time and 1,000 hours PIC.
  • Valid EASA, FAA or ICAO licence: ATPL, or CPL/IR with ATPL theory credits.
  • Mandatory Class 1 Medical.
  • English proficiency: ICAO Level 4 or higher.
  • Outstanding flying skills, sound judgement, and a calm, client-focused demeanor.
  • Unrestricted, valid passport and ability to travel globally; additional Schengen, US or UK visas are an advantage.
  • Right to work in India is required, with unrestricted travel in/out of the country.
  • Flexible, independent, and team-oriented mindset.

Note: Only applicants who are type rated and current on the BD-700 will be reviewed.

  • Rotation: 20 days on / 10 days off.
  • Employment: UAE employment contract.
  • Base: India.
