Boeing First Officer – Cargo Operations (Detroit)

🧭 The opportunity

As a First Officer with Kalitta Air, you’ll fly on domestic and international cargo missions, supporting a dynamic global logistics network. You’ll operate within a highly professional crew environment, backed by robust training, safety, and operational standards.

🧰 What you’ll do

• Operate various Boeing aircraft as First Officer on scheduled and ad-hoc cargo missions.
• Ensure compliance with FAR Part 121, company SOPs, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
• Execute all phases of flight, including preflight planning, performance calculations, and checklist procedures.
• Collaborate closely with the Captain, dispatch, and maintenance to deliver safe, on-time operations.
• Uphold the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and crew resource management.

🌟 What you bring

• Minimum 1,500 hours total flight time.
• 1,500 hours turbine (jet) time preferred.
• 1,000 hours PIC turbine (jet) time preferred.
• Valid FAA R-ATP license.
• Valid First Class (Class 1) Medical Certificate.
• FCC Radio License.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• No restrictions on international travel.
• Ability to pass a 10-year security background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• Must have the right to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).
