Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) Captain – DC Aviation Al-Futtaim, Dubai

✈️ About the role

As Captain, you will hold final authority for flight operations and the safety of passengers, crew, and aircraft from taxi-out to engine shut-down. You’ll lead a professional multi-crew flight deck, deliver impeccable customer care, and uphold DCAF’s reputation across a dynamic, VIP charter environment with a flexible duty roster.

🧭 What you’ll do

• Exercise ultimate command of the aircraft, safeguarding people, payload, and airframe throughout all phases of flight.
• Lead the flight deck under the Multi-Crew Concept, assigning PF/PNF roles and maintaining rigorous checklist discipline.
• Set operational priorities that always place safety first while balancing efficiency, passenger comfort, and punctuality.
• Conduct and/or verify flight and weather briefings, route and airport knowledge (including alternates), and performance planning.
• Confirm flight and duty time compliance and crew readiness in accordance with regulations and company policy.
• Ensure all required documents are current and on board; sign for airworthiness, maintenance status, instrumentation, mass & balance, and dangerous goods provisions.
• Brief and coordinate with cabin crew; foster a strong duty of care and a polished, discreet service standard for VIP clients.
• Report findings and irregularities promptly; take decisive action in abnormal and emergency situations.
• Exercise authority to exclude persons or items from transport when necessary for safety and compliance.
• Meet operational duties as laid out in OM-A and OM-B while representing DCAF with professionalism and cultural awareness.

🧰 What you’ll bring

• Valid EASA or FAA ATPL with current BBJ type rating and valid Class 1 Medical.
• Minimum 3,000 hours total time, 2,500 hours PIC, and 1,000 hours on BBJ.
• At least 5 years of BBJ business aviation experience.
• High level of English language proficiency.
• Proactive mindset, excellent organization, and calm, flexible decision-making under pressure.
• Outstanding customer relationship skills and strong cultural awareness.
• Instructor background is an advantage.
• Permanent residency in Dubai (or willingness to relocate) and availability for a flexible duty roster.
