🧭 About the role

As a Neos First Officer, you will support safe, efficient, and on‑time operations across our growing global network. You will work closely with the Captain and flight operations teams to deliver an excellent onboard experience while upholding the highest safety, compliance, and SOP standards.

🧰 What you’ll do

  • Operate the Boeing 787/777 in accordance with EASA regulations and Neos SOPs.
  • Conduct thorough preflight preparation, performance calculations, and briefing/debriefing.
  • Monitor flight progress, systems, weather, and fuel; manage normal and non‑normal procedures.
  • Collaborate with cabin crew and ground teams to maintain safety, punctuality, and customer care.
  • Participate in recurrent training and checking to sustain line proficiency and standards.

🌟 Minimum requirements

  • Total time: 2,500 hours (minimum)
  • License required: EASA CPL with IR and ME
  • Medical: EASA Class 1
  • Type rating: Not required (training provided)
  • Languages: English and Italian
  • ICAO ELP level: Minimum Level 4 (English)
  • Italian proficiency: Minimum Level 6
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Background: No criminal record
  • Travel eligibility: Legal right to travel unrestricted to and from all countries flown by Neos S.p.A.
  • Visa sponsorship: Not provided

🧑‍✈️ Preferred profile

  • Existing 777/787 type rating or experience on modern jet transport aircraft (advantageous, not required).
  • Strong CRM, decision‑making, and communication skills in multicultural, international operations.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

📚 Training & development

Non‑type‑rated candidates will receive a full 777/787 type rating pathway with ground school, simulator training, and line training to Neos and EASA standards. Ongoing recurrent training and career development are part of our commitment to operational excellence.
