Join a professional cargo flight deck where safety, precision and teamwork power every mission. As a B777 First Officer based in Luqa, you’ll help deliver time-critical freight worldwide with care and efficiency.
✈️ About the role
As a First Officer on our Boeing 777 freighter fleet, you’ll support safe, efficient, and compliant operations from pre-flight planning through touchdown and post-flight reporting. You’ll work closely with the Captain, flight dispatch and air traffic control to execute each sector to the highest professional standards while safeguarding the aircraft, crew and any persons onboard.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Conduct thorough pre-flight checks, performance calculations and systems verification to ensure airworthiness and safety.
- Review and confirm flight plans, fuel requirements, NOTAMs and weather; coordinate amendments when operationally required.
- Monitor all cockpit instruments and flight deck systems, identifying and addressing any anomalies per SOPs.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with ATC throughout each phase of flight and coordinate with operations/dispatch.
- Continuously assess weather, aircraft position and traffic; recommend changes to the flight plan if conditions warrant.
- Uphold the highest safety standards, applying threat and error management and company procedures at all times.
- Complete accurate flight, technical and safety reports before departure and after landing.
🧰 What you’ll bring
- Degree in aircraft engineering, aviation or a related field.
- Valid EASA CPL (minimum) or ATPL.
- Current EASA Part-MED Class 1 medical.
- Minimum ICAO English language proficiency Level 4.
- Knowledge of aviation safety rules, regulations and procedures (EASA/ICAO; federal frameworks also recognised).
- Boeing experience preferred; familiarity with the B777 is an advantage.
Licence required: EASA CPL. ATPL holders are welcome to apply.
