  • Licensing: SACAA CPL (essential); ATPL preferred
  • Medical: Class 1 SACAA Medical (essential)
  • Experience: 1500+ total hours; 500+ multi-turbine; multi-crew

✈️ What you’ll do

  • Operate the Boeing 737NG as First Officer, ensuring the highest levels of flight safety and compliance.
  • Conduct thorough preflight planning, performance calculations, weather and NOTAM review, and weight-and-balance.
  • Execute standard operating procedures, checklists, and company policies with disciplined CRM.
  • Monitor aircraft systems, manage fuel and navigation, and communicate effectively with ATC.
  • Assist the Captain in decision-making, threat and error management, and on-time performance.
  • Complete flight documentation and safety reports; uphold regulatory requirements (SACAA, ICAO, Doc 8186).
  • Maintain currency through recurrent training and be available for rostered irregular hours, weekends, and holidays.

🧭 What you’ll bring

  • Education: Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Licences: SACAA CPL (essential); ATPL preferred.
  • Medical: Class 1 SACAA Medical (essential); no existing medical conditions.
  • Hours: Minimum 1500 total flight time including 500 hours multi-turbine; multi-crew experience essential.
  • Type rating: Boeing type rating advantageous; experience on commercial jets over 20 tons advantageous.
  • Regulatory: Detailed knowledge of national aviation regulations (SACAA, ICAO) and Doc 8186; understanding of CPL/ATPL licensing content.
  • Clearances: No criminal record; willing to undergo drug and alcohol testing; willing to sign applicable training bonds.
  • Right to work: South African citizen with proof of identity and a valid RSA passport.
  • Transport: Own transport and a valid RSA driver’s licence.
  • Availability: Willing to work irregular hours on a roster.
