Compass Cargo Airlines is a growing Bulgarian cargo operator flying a dedicated Boeing 737-800SF fleet alongside our Boeing 747-400F and 747-400ERF widebody operation. We support an expanding international network for major cargo customers, built on clear communication, professional standards, efficient structures, and reliable teamwork under EASA-compliant procedures and modern rostering practices.

As a Boeing 737NG First Officer, you will operate in a cargo-focused environment where night flying, tight ground turnarounds, and dangerous goods handling are everyday realities. Our 737-800SF network complements our long-haul 747 operation, giving you exposure to a broad and varied flying program within a single company.

  • Employment: Permanent (full-time employee)
  • Operation: International cargo network with night operations, quick turnarounds, and DG handling
  • Fleet exposure: Boeing 737-800SF complemented by Boeing 747-400F/ERF
  • Standards: EASA-compliant procedures and modern rostering
  • Type rating: Required (Boeing 737NG)

  • Operate the Boeing 737-800SF safely and efficiently in line with company SOPs and EASA regulations.
  • Execute night cargo missions with precision, managing tight ground turnarounds and on-time performance.
  • Handle dangerous goods procedures with diligence and compliance.
  • Maintain high cockpit standards that set the tone for the entire cargo operation.
  • Communicate clearly and collaborate seamlessly with flight ops, ground teams, and maintenance.
  • Contribute to a professional, solutions-oriented culture in both routine and non-normal situations.

  • Type rating on Boeing 737NG (required); recent experience on type is an advantage.
  • Calm, consistent, and solution-oriented decision-making—on the flight deck and on the ground.
  • Limited cadet positions available for motivated, type-rated pilots meeting the minimum licensing standards.

🛡️ Minimum Requirements

  • Type rating: Boeing 737NG (required)
  • License: Valid EASA CPL/ATPL (A) or MPL (A), not subject to operator bonding
  • Accepted licenses: EASA
  • Medical: Class 1
  • English proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 5 (minimum)
