✈️ The Role

Command safe, on-time B737NG operations from pushback to shutdown. You’ll model exemplary airmanship, mentor First Officers, and uphold a safety-first culture while delivering a smooth, professional experience for our customers.

Lead all phases of flight in line with company SOPs and regulatory requirements.
Exercise strong CRM and foster teamwork with flight, cabin, and ground crews.
Conduct thorough briefings, performance calculations, fuel planning, and weather/NOTAM reviews.
Manage abnormal and emergency procedures with clarity, composure, and sound judgement.
Champion on-time performance while safeguarding safety margins and passenger comfort.

🧭 Minimum Qualifications

Total Time: 4,000 hours minimum
PIC on Type: 500 hours on Boeing 737NG
Heavy Aircraft Time: At least 1,000 hours on aircraft over 27 tonnes MTOW
Licence: ATPL (DGCA Turkey, EASA, FAA, or ICAO)
Type Rating: Boeing 737NG — current and valid
Medical: Class 1
ICAO ELP: Level 4 or higher
Education: At least high school graduation

🧰 Additional Requirements

No criminal record or criminal archive record.
No written punishment due to flight failure or flight indiscipline.
No previous failures in training or control/check flights at Turkish Airlines or other airlines.
Not previously terminated from THY AO or its subsidiary companies.
Acceptance of a company-determined base and willingness to reside at that base.
Final pre-employment examination by AJet workplace physicians is essential.
For Blue Card holders: Fluent and clear command of Turkish is required.
