Step up to the flight deck of a modern Boeing 737NG with a permanent command opportunity. Non–type-rated captains welcome — we’ll provide the transition training.
🧭 The opportunity
Join a safety‑first, DGCA‑regulated operation and take command on the Boeing 737NG. You’ll lead every phase of flight, mentor the crew, and deliver an exceptional, on‑time operation while upholding the highest technical and CRM standards.
🧰 Minimum requirements
- Type rating: Not required at application; airline‑provided training upon selection
- License: Current ATPL issued by DGCA
- Medical: Valid Class 1
- Language: Minimum ICAO English Level 4
- Proficiency & radio: Current Pilot’s Proficiency Check (PPC), FRTOL, and COP/RTR
- Experience (choose one path):
- Captain with minimum 500 hours on commercial jets; or
- Total 3000 hours, including 1000 hours airline turboprop, and minimum 500 hours as PIC with a Scheduled Operator; or
- Total 3000 hours, including 1000 hours airline turboprop, and minimum 1500 hours as PIC on a Non‑scheduled Operator with AUW > 15 tons; or
- Captain with minimum 500 hours on military/transport jets > 70 tons (e.g., IL‑76, C‑17, B777, P‑8).
🌟 Compliance and documentation
- eGCA: Mandatory eGCA ID with all licences and documents validated
- Safety record: Certificate of incident/accident‑free record
- Regulatory history: Breath‑analyzer records and details of any enforcement action by DGCA in the preceding 3 years
Shortlisted applicants will be asked to provide supporting documents and recent logbook summaries for verification.
🛫 What you’ll do
- Operate the Boeing 737NG safely and efficiently in compliance with company SOPs and DGCA regulations
- Lead flight crews, foster strong CRM, and ensure clear, professional communication
- Deliver on‑time performance while managing fuel, payload, and operational decision‑making
- Champion a just‑culture approach to safety reporting and continuous improvement
🎓 Training and transition
- NTR entry: Structured 737NG transition with ground school, simulator, and line training
- Recurrent: Regular proficiency checks and ongoing technical refreshers
