🧭 What you’ll do

  • Operate the Boeing 737 in a multi-crew, IFR environment, supporting safe, efficient, and on-time operations.
  • Interpret and apply operational data — weather, NOTAMs, performance calculations, and flight plans — to inform sound decisions.
  • Demonstrate strong CRM and strict adherence to SOPs across all phases of flight.
  • Maintain high situational awareness and anticipate operational needs in dynamic conditions.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely with the PIC, cabin crew, ATC, Dispatch, SOCC, and Maintenance.
  • Exhibit professionalism, composure, and judgment during normal, abnormal, and emergency situations.

  • Familiarity with Transport Canada regulations applicable to commercial operations, including CARs 602/604/703/704/705.
  • Proven professionalism, reliability, and consistent adherence to SOPs.
  • Strong situational awareness with the ability to anticipate and respond to changing conditions.
  • Excellent decision-making skills grounded in accurate assessment of operational information.
  • Effective multi-crew coordination, clear communication, and strong CRM.
  • Exceptional workload management and prioritization under time-sensitive or high-pressure conditions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication with all operational stakeholders.
  • Analytical, safety-first problem solving informed by operational data.
  • Commitment to continuous learning on aircraft systems, company procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and adherence to professional and safety standards.

🌟 Minimum qualifications

  • Total Time: 1000 hours
  • Flight Experience: Multi-crew, IFR environment with exposure to commercial airline procedures, workload management, and flight deck coordination
  • Type Rating: Not required (training provided)
  • Preferred Experience: Boeing 737 operations (NG and MAX) considered a strong asset
  • Licenses/Exams: IATRA, SAMRA/SARON (TCCA)
  • Medical: Transport Canada Category 1
  • ICAO English: Level 4 or higher

🛡️ Compliance and eligibility

  • Ability to successfully clear background and criminal record checks.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a RAIC.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment alcohol and drug screening test.
  • Valid passport; able to travel unrestricted to and from the United States and other international destinations.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada without restriction.
