Boeing 737 First Officer (Multiple Canadian Bases)

✈️ The opportunity

Reporting to the Chief Pilot within Flight Operations, you’ll be a key member of a two-crew flight deck operating scheduled services safely, efficiently, and on time. You’ll bring sharp situational awareness, strong judgment, and unwavering professionalism to every sector as our network scales and frequencies increase.

🧰 What you’ll do

• Execute thorough pre-flight preparations, including aircraft status reviews, performance planning, weather and NOTAM analysis, and regulatory compliance checks.
• Assist the Pilot-in-Command through all phases of flight, adhering to SOPs, Transport Canada regulations, and industry best practices.
• Continuously monitor operational conditions—weather, aircraft performance, and ATC constraints—and provide timely, actionable updates to the Captain.
• Identify potential disruptions and support safe, commercially minded decisions that minimize delay and protect the schedule.
• Communicate clearly and calmly with cabin crew and passengers regarding turbulence, weather, and operational considerations.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, SOCC, and Dispatch to relay technical/operational information and implement agreed actions.
• Maintain current knowledge of aircraft systems, SOPs, and evolving operational practices; complete additional operational duties as assigned.

🧭 What you’ll bring

• Licensing: Transport Canada ATPL, or CPL with successful IATRA or SAMRA/SARON.
• Experience: Minimum 1,000 hours total fixed‑wing time with proven multi‑crew IFR experience and exposure to commercial airline procedures.
• Regulatory knowledge: Familiarity with Transport Canada regs applicable to commercial ops, including CARs 602/604/703/704/705.
• Technical proficiency: Ability to interpret weather, NOTAMs, performance calculations, and flight plans with precision.
• CRM & decision-making: Excellent crew coordination, workload management, and sound judgment in normal, abnormal, and emergency situations.
• Communication: Clear, concise verbal and written communication; strong problem-solving mindset.
• Professionalism: Reliability, SOP discipline, and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Asset: Boeing 737 NG/MAX experience.

🛡️ Readiness & compliance

• Eligible to work in Canada without restriction.
• Valid Transport Canada Category 1 Medical Certificate.
• Valid passport permitting unrestricted travel to/from the United States and other international destinations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a RAIC.
• Clear background and criminal record checks.
• Successful completion of pre-employment alcohol and drug screening.

📍 Bases

This position is available at pilot bases in Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, and Edmonton. Preference can be discussed during the selection process based on operational needs.
