✈️ Role Overview

As a 737 First Officer, you will support the Captain in the safe, compliant, and efficient conduct of every flight—aircraft operation, passengers, cargo, and crew included. You will model professionalism and clear communication, maintain sharp systems knowledge, and step into command if the Captain becomes incapacitated. You will be an ambassador of Eastern Air Express values on every leg.

🧭 What You’ll Do

  • Operate the Boeing 737 in accordance with all FARs, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform flight duties as delegated by the Captain and maintain full awareness of Captain responsibilities.
  • Assume command if the Captain becomes incapacitated.
  • Uphold the highest standards of safety, decision-making, and Crew Resource Management throughout all phases of flight.
  • Maintain required certificates and report any condition affecting flight fitness.
  • Deliver exceptional communication and teamwork in a fast-paced operational environment.

🧰 What You Bring

Required

  • 2,000 hours total flight time, including at least 500 hours in turbojet aircraft.
  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate (unrestricted).
  • FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
  • FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Valid passport with worldwide travel eligibility.
  • ICAO English Level 4 or higher.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Strong record of safety and regulatory compliance; solid knowledge of FARs.
  • Ability to multitask, perform under pressure, and communicate clearly.
  • Willingness to work seniority-bid schedules (nights, weekends, holidays) and travel extensively.
  • Reside within two hours of MIA or YNG.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment DOT drug testing, alcohol testing, and Criminal History Records Check (CHRC).

Preferred

  • Narrow-body aircraft experience.
  • Formal Crew Resource Management (CRM) training or experience.
