Spring Japan, a JAL Group low-cost carrier, is seeking experienced Boeing 737-800 Captains to lead safe, on-time operations across domestic Japan and international routes connecting Japan and China from our Narita hub.
✈️ About the role
As a Captain on the Boeing 737-800, you will set the standard for safety, leadership, and operational excellence. You will operate scheduled services from Narita, ensuring disciplined cockpit management, clear crew coordination, and an outstanding passenger experience on every sector.
🧭 Key duties
- Operate Boeing 737-800 aircraft on scheduled domestic and international routes.
- Perform comprehensive pre-flight planning and thorough post-flight procedures.
- Lead and coordinate flight deck and cabin crew to ensure safe, efficient operations.
- Maintain strict compliance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements.
- Uphold the highest standards of airmanship, decision-making, and customer care.
🧰 What you’ll bring
- Valid ATPL with B737-800 type rating.
- Minimum 1,000 hours PIC time on airline operations.
- Minimum 4,000 total flight hours.
- Minimum 3,000 hours jet time.
- Valid Class 1 medical certificate (additional testing required for applicants aged 60+).
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher.
- Valid aeronautical radio telephone operator license or equivalent.
- Recent flight logbook extract covering the last 50 hours.
