🧭 The opportunity

As a First Officer on the BAe 146/Avro RJ, you will fly a versatile multi‑engine jet across diverse conditions while upholding the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and CRM. You must be able to travel to the United States and Europe for operational or training requirements.

🧰 What you’ll do

• Operate as First Officer on the BAe 146/Avro RJ in accordance with company SOPs and regulations.
• Conduct thorough flight planning, performance, fuel, and weight & balance calculations.
• Execute disciplined checklists, briefings, and sterile cockpit procedures.
• Champion a strong safety culture, contributing to the Safety Management System (SMS) and proactive reporting.
• Demonstrate effective CRM and clear cockpit communication.
• Maintain regulatory currency and company standards through training and checking.

🌟 Minimum requirements

• Total time: 1,000 hours
• Multi-engine: 500 hours
• Type rating: Not required — training provided
• Licence: Valid TCCA licence with IATRA
• Medical: Class 1
• Language: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher

🧭 Additional requirements

• Ability to obtain a Canadian RAIC
• Current passport with the ability to travel to the United States and Europe
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol testing requirements
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated commitment to a strong safety culture
• Legally entitled to work in Canada; sponsorship is not available

🌟 Preferred experience

• Previous jet experience
• High Arctic flying experience (or similar challenging environments)
