As a B747-400 Captain, you will lead safe, efficient cargo operations across variable worldwide bases. Expect dynamic flying: night operations, rapid turnarounds, and routine DG handling—supported by clear SOPs, professional standards, and a collaborative flight deck culture. You’ll set the tone for excellence, mentoring crews and representing the airline at every station.

  • License Required: EASA ATPL(A) & Class 1 Medical

🧭 What You’ll Do

  • Command B747-400F/ERF flights for major cargo customers across an expanding international network.
  • Plan and execute safe, on-time operations including night sectors and time-critical turnarounds.
  • Ensure full compliance with EASA procedures, company SOPs, and dangerous goods regulations.
  • Lead by example on the flight deck—fostering clear communication, teamwork, and a calm, solution-focused approach.
  • Coordinate effectively with dispatch, maintenance, ground handlers, and loadmasters to protect OTP and cargo integrity.
  • Support a strong safety culture through disciplined threat and error management and high CRM standards.
  • Contribute to a professional, multicultural environment while interfacing seamlessly with the 737-800SF network.

🧰 What You’ll Bring

  • Valid EASA ATPL(A) and valid EASA Class 1 Medical.
  • Current B747-400 type rating.
  • Minimum 6,000 total hours.
  • At least 4,500 hours on medium to heavy turbojet aircraft.
  • Minimum 1,000 hours on B747-400 or B747-8.
  • Minimum 500 hours PIC on B747-400 or B747-8.
  • Minimum 1,500 total PIC hours.
  • ICAO English Level 5 or higher.
  • TRI/TRE experience is an advantage.
  • Outstanding communication, teamwork, and situational leadership with a steady, professional demeanor.
