Texel Air Australasia is inviting Expressions of Interest from experienced Captains to take a leadership role in our Darwin-based B737NG cargo operation. 🧰 What you’ll do

  • Assume full command and responsibility for the safe, efficient operation of every flight.
  • Lead by example so service standards consistently exceed expectations.
  • Execute all duties in accordance with company Operations Manuals with precision and professionalism.
  • Maintain schedule integrity while upholding the highest safety standards.
  • Apply advanced NTS to foster teamwork and operational success.

🧩 What you’ll bring

  • A pragmatic, hands-on approach backed by solid technical expertise.
  • Willingness to reside in, or relocate permanently to, Darwin.

📏 Minimum qualifications & hours

  • License: Current ATPL issued by the New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority or the Civil Aviation Safety Authority of Australia, with eligibility for a NZ ATPL under the TTMRA.
  • Type Rating: Current Boeing 737NG (specifically not the 737 MAX), with recent experience on type within the last five years.
  • Flight Time:
    • 6,000 hours total time.
    • 3,000 hours on multi-pilot aircraft (MPA).
    • EITHER 1,000 hours PIC on B737NG OR 2,000 hours PIC on types over 50 tonnes MTOW.
