B737-800/900ER Captain (Type Rated) – Bangkok Don Mueang (DMK)

✈️ The opportunity

Thai Lion Air is hiring an experienced, type-rated B737-800/900ER Captain to operate scheduled passenger services from its Bangkok Don Mueang hub. You will take command of the flight deck, ensure regulatory and company SOP compliance, and deliver a safe, on-time, customer-focused operation.

🧭 What you’ll do

• Command B737-800/900ER flights in accordance with company SOPs and applicable regulations.
• Exercise overall responsibility for flight safety, decision-making, and risk management.
• Lead, brief, and mentor the flight and cabin crew, promoting effective CRM.
• Oversee flight planning, performance, fuel, alternate selection, and weather/NOTAM assessments.
• Manage normal, abnormal, and emergency procedures to the highest professional standards.
• Maintain compliance with training, checking, and recurrent requirements.
• Deliver an excellent passenger experience through punctual and efficient operations.

🧰 Minimum requirements

• Current ATPL with a valid B737-800/900ER type rating (airline experience only).
• Minimum 1,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command on multi-crew, multi-engine aircraft; PICUS hours not accepted.
• Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• Minimum ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4.
• Age between 30–55 years.
• Thai nationality only.
