B1900/B350 Captains & First Officers – Africa Operations (Windhoek, Namibia)

✈️ The Opportunity

In this frontline flight operations role, you will be responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft, passenger and crew safety and comfort, and full regulatory compliance. You’ll work closely with co-pilots, cabin crew, and ground personnel, and participate in ongoing training while supporting missions throughout Africa.

🧭 What You’ll Do

• Operate the B1900/B350 in full compliance with company policies, ICAO standards, and all applicable regulations.
• Complete thorough pre-flight inspections; review flight plans, performance data, and weather conditions.
• Manage aircraft systems and controls during all phases of flight, including take-off and landing.
• Communicate effectively with Air Traffic Control and coordinate with operations for smooth turnarounds.
• Respond decisively to abnormal and emergency situations to protect safety at all times.
• Collaborate with co-pilots, cabin crew, and ground teams to ensure seamless operations and service excellence.
• Maintain accurate records and complete all operational and safety reporting requirements.
• Engage in recurrent training and professional development to uphold high proficiency standards.

🧰 Qualifications & Experience

• Licences: Valid CPL (First Officers & Captains) or ATPL (Captains). ICAO-compliant.
• Type Ratings: Current/required type rating on B1900 and/or B350 (King Air 350).
• First Officers – OGP: 500+ total time; 250+ multi-engine; 10+ hours on type; willing to travel 6–12 weeks in Africa.
• Captains – Non OGP: 1,500+ total time; 100+ multi-engine; 50+ PIC on type; willing to travel 6–12 weeks in Africa.
• Preferred avionics experience: Pro Line 21, Pro Line Fusion, and/or Garmin G1000.
• Core competencies: Strong CRM, situational awareness, decision-making, and communication skills.

Note: Minimum total time varies by role (500+ for First Officers; 1,500+ for Captains).

🌍 Location & Travel

Base: Windhoek, Namibia. This role includes extended assignments across Africa, typically 6–12-week rotations, supporting regional operations and mission requirements.
