Join Mountain Air Cargo, a FedEx Feeder, as a home-based ATR First Officer supporting cargo operations across the Eastern United States and the Caribbean. As a floater, you’ll launch from your home near a major Eastern U.S. airport and step into dynamic missions wherever you’re needed most.

  • Employer: Mountain Air Cargo (FedEx Feeder)
  • Operation: Cargo — ATR turboprop fleet
  • Home Base: Home-based near a major Eastern U.S. airport
  • Primary Region: Eastern U.S. and Caribbean
  • Eligibility: U.S. Citizens or holders of U.S. Work Authorization
  • License Required: CPL or Restricted ATP (ATP-CTP provided for new hires)

🧭 Role Snapshot

As a floater First Officer, you’ll operate ATR freighters in accordance with company and aircraft manuals, support safe and efficient cargo movements, and adapt to a variety of routes and stations. This role is ideal for pilots who enjoy variety, problem-solving, and the autonomy of a home-based lifestyle.

🧰 Minimum Requirements

  • Certificates: Commercial or Restricted ATP, Multi-Engine Land
  • Training: ATP-CTP provided for new hires
  • Medical: FAA First-Class Medical
  • Travel Documents: Current passport
  • Flight Time: 1500 hours Total Time (or R-ATP minimums as applicable), 500 hours PIC, 50 hours MEL
  • Work Authorization: U.S. Citizens or U.S. Work Authorization

📋 What You’ll Do

  • Operate the ATR in strict accordance with aircraft flight manuals and the Company Operations Manual
  • Perform weight-and-balance calculations and performance planning
  • Supervise unloading and off-loading of cargo to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Assist the Captain with flight planning, coordination, and employee/customer relations
  • Complete, verify, and maintain accurate operational paperwork
