Join JSX’s ATR Quick Upgrade Captain program in Las Vegas. Start in the right seat as a First Officer, build leadership and line experience, and step into the left seat on an accelerated timeline. Fly purposeful, multi-leg days while returning home most nights—delivering a seamless, semi-private experience for our guests.
✈️ The opportunity
As an ATR First Officer on the Quick Upgrade track, you’ll operate in a safety-first, SOP-driven environment while preparing for command in as little as three to six months. You’ll partner closely with the Captain, Mission Control, and Ground Operations to execute efficient, on-time operations across the network.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Operate the ATR safely and in full compliance with FAA regulations, JSX SOPs, and industry safety standards.
- Perform thorough pre-flight checks, safety procedures, and flows.
- Review flight details in Traxxall, including maintenance status, NOTAMs, fuel loads, weather, and routing.
- Collaborate with the Captain on departure, arrival, and diversion planning and provide clear, timely input.
- Serve as the secondary voice to the Captain and maintain real-time communication with Mission Control, Ground Operations, ATC, and the Flight Attendant.
- Assist with quick-turn tasks, light cabin tidying, and logbook/maintenance entries as required.
- Participate in recurrent training, performance evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
🧰 What you bring
Minimum qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2,500 hours total flight time.
- Minimum 500 hours multi-engine.
- Minimum 100 hours in the last 12 months.
- No FAA violations, accidents, incidents, or suspensions.
- No significant training or check ride failures.
Licenses & certifications
- Valid FAA Pilot Certificate appropriate to the aircraft and operating position.
- Current and valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Current and valid ATP or Commercial Multi-Engine Certificate.
- Current and valid FCC Radio Operator’s Permit.
- Current and valid Driver’s license and Passport.
Preferred experience
- 3,000+ hours total time.
- Turbine aircraft experience.
