ATR Captain – Home-Base Operations

✈️ About the role

As an ATR Captain, you’ll command safe, efficient, and compliant operations under Part 121, leading a professional crew and delivering reliable performance on every flight. You’ll leverage strong IFR proficiency and multi-crew experience to execute on-time operations while upholding the highest safety standards and embodying Empire Airlines’ commitment to excellence.

  • Captain ATR aircraft in Part 121 operations with full PIC authority and accountability.
  • Conduct thorough preflight planning, performance calculations, and weight & balance.
  • Operate to the highest standards of SOP adherence, CRM, and SMS safety practices.
  • Maintain IFR currency and demonstrate strong instrument skills in diverse weather.
  • Foster a positive, communicative cockpit culture and mentor crewmembers.
  • Ensure full regulatory compliance, including Part 121.436 pilot qualification standards.

🧰 What you’ll bring

  • FAA ATP certificate with Multi-Engine Land (MEL) rating.
  • Valid First Class Medical Certificate.
  • Minimum 2,500 hours total flight time.
  • Minimum 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
  • Minimum 1,000 hours MEL (multi-engine land).
  • Minimum 300 hours turbine/turboprop.
  • Minimum 500 hours crew time.
  • IFR currency and demonstrated proficiency.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Compliance with FAA/DOT Drug and Alcohol Program.
  • Part 121.436 Pilot Qualification compliance.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors/in inclement weather.
  • Manual dexterity with clear speaking, seeing, and hearing capability.
