ATR Captain – ATR 72-500 & ATR 42-500/600 | Precision Air, Dar es Salaam

🧭 The opportunity

Precision Air, a scheduled regional airline based in Dar es Salaam, is recruiting experienced Captains to operate the ATR 72-500 and ATR 42-500/600. As Pilot in Command, you will plan, supervise, and operate company flights while upholding uncompromising safety, operational discipline, and effective Crew Resource Management across all phases of flight.

🧰 What you will do

• Serve as Pilot in Command on ATR 72-500 and ATR 42-500/600 operations.
• Plan, brief, and execute flights in accordance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Champion a strong safety culture, operational discipline, and robust CRM.
• Ensure license qualification and recency compliance per GOM and TCARS requirements.
• Lead and mentor flight crew, fostering teamwork and professional standards.
• Deliver a reliable, customer-focused operation that reflects Precision Air’s service values.

🌟 What you will bring

• Valid ATPL with current type ratings on ATR 72-500 and ATR 42-500/600.
• Total time: 3,500 hours minimum.
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 1,500 hours minimum, including 500 hours PIC on type.
• At least 2 years of experience in commercial air transport.
• License qualification and recency per GOM and TCARS requirements.
• University graduate or equivalent diploma, or flight/cargo operations qualifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; customer service experience in the airline industry is an added advantage.
• TCAA licence is an added advantage.

🧭 Where you will fly from

Primary base: Julius Nyerere International Airport (DAR), Dar es Salaam, Tanzania – supporting regional scheduled services across the network.
