Launch your regional airline career on the ATR 72. Norra is recruiting new pilots into our commercial pilot courses, leading to co‑pilot roles on our ATR fleet. If you hold an EASA Frozen ATPL and are ready to fly irregular schedules while upholding the highest safety standards, we’d love to meet you.

🧭 About the program

New pilots will primarily be hired as ATR co‑pilots through Norra’s upcoming commercial pilot courses. Courses are scheduled throughout the year based on operational needs. Candidate testing and interviews are conducted in batches as part of our standard recruitment process, with selections made for confirmed course dates.

🧰 Training and type rating

This is an NTR intake. An ATR 72 type rating and company training will be provided to candidates who successfully complete the recruitment process and are allocated to a confirmed course.

🌟 What you will do

  • Operate as ATR 72 First Officer in accordance with Norra SOPs and all regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain an uncompromising safety mindset and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Work irregular shifts as part of a dynamic regional operation.
  • Collaborate with captains, dispatch, and cabin crew to deliver a reliable, passenger‑focused service.
  • Engage in recurrent training and continuous professional development.

📋 Minimum requirements

  • Licence: EASA Frozen ATPL with IR, MCC, ME, and UPRT
  • Medical: Class 1
  • Language: Fluent Finnish and ICAO ELP level 4 or higher
  • Shifts: Able to work irregular hours
  • Background: Meets the standards for basic security clearance and complies with the aviation industry’s strict intoxicant policies
  • Sponsorship: Eligible to work without visa sponsorship (not provided)

🗓️ Selection process and timeline

The application remains open, and assessments are conducted in several batches.

  • First round of tests and interviews: November–December 2025
  • To join the first round: Submit your application by 19 October 2025
  • Ongoing intakes: Additional batches will be scheduled as course dates are confirmed
  • Offers: Candidates who successfully complete the process will be selected for confirmed courses as dates are finalized
