✈️ ATR 72-500/600 Captain at Green Africa
Green Africa, Nigeria’s value airline, is recruiting experienced Captains to lead our ATR 72-500/600 turboprop operations from our Lagos base. As Commander, you will champion safety, professionalism, and operational excellence on every sector.
🧭 Your mission
Act as Pilot-in-Command, ensuring the highest standards of safety and operational integrity during all normal and abnormal operations. You’ll set the tone for excellence on the flight deck, lead by example, and represent the Green Africa brand with professionalism on every flight.
🧰 What you’ll do
- Exercise full command authority and responsibility for the aircraft, crew, passengers, and cargo throughout each operation.
- Conduct thorough preflight planning and decision-making in accordance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements.
- Manage normal, abnormal, and emergency procedures to maintain safety at the highest possible level.
- Lead and mentor the flight deck and cabin teams, fostering a just culture and exemplary airmanship.
- Ensure efficient, on-time operations in coordination with Dispatch, Maintenance, and Ground Operations.
- Uphold and promote Green Africa’s values, delivering a consistent and positive brand experience.
🌟 What you’ll bring
- License: Valid ICAO ATPL with current ATR 72-500/600 type rating.
- Medical: First Class Medical Certificate.
- English Proficiency: ICAO Level 5 or higher.
- Experience: Minimum 6,000 total flight hours.
- Command Time: At least 2,000 airline command hours on the ATR 72-500/600 series.
- Recency: Flown within the last 12 months.
Only candidates who meet all minimum requirements can be considered for this advanced Captain appointment.
