🧭 About the role
For 34 years, interCaribbean Airways has connected island communities with reliable, friendly service. As an ATR 42/72 Captain, you’ll lead safe and efficient operations across short sectors and diverse environments, collaborating closely with flight deck, cabin, dispatch, and ground teams to deliver an exceptional travel experience.
🧰 What you’ll do
- Command ATR 42/72 flights in accordance with company SOPs, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Lead, mentor, and develop flight deck crews while fostering a strong safety and just culture.
- Manage flight planning, performance, weight & balance, fuel strategies, and real-time decision-making.
- Collaborate with OCC/Dispatch, Maintenance, and Ground Operations to ensure on-time, customer-focused performance.
- Maintain exemplary airmanship, communication, and CRM—especially across dynamic Caribbean weather and airspace.

- Eligibility to hold an Airport Security pass (conditions apply).
✈️ Minimum requirements
- Total Time: 3,000 hours in commercial aviation
- In Type (ATR 42/72): 1,000 hours
- Type Rating: Required (ATR 42/72)
- License: ATPL/ATP
- Accepted Authorities: EASA, FAA, ICAO
- Medical: Class 1
- ICAO English Proficiency: Level 5
- Employment Type: Permanent
- Visa Sponsorship: Provided
