Root Aviation Ltd is seeking experienced AT‑802 Captains to lead high‑impact special missions across the Middle East. If you thrive in demanding, low‑level environments and have a proven record in aerial firefighting, oil spill response, or agricultural operations, this long‑term, direct‑hire contract is your next mission.
✈️ The mission
Operate Air Tractor AT‑802/502 aircraft in challenging, time‑critical operations including aerial firefighting (fire bombing), oil spill response, and precision agricultural applications. You’ll join a safety‑focused team delivering essential services that protect communities and the environment across the region.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Captain the AT‑802/502 in special‑mission operations with precise low‑level flying.
- Plan and execute sorties in dynamic conditions, maintaining strict safety and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with ground/operations teams for rapid response and effective tasking.
- Uphold company SOPs, participate in recurrent training, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Ensure aircraft readiness through diligent pre/post‑flight checks and accurate documentation.
🧰 What you’ll bring
- Valid ICAO ATPL and First Class Medical.
- Minimum 4,000 hours total time.
- Minimum 500 hours on AT‑802/502 with recent time on type.
- Proven experience in crop dusting, oil spill response, or aerial firefighting (fire bombing) — required.
- Clean safety record (no accidents/incidents).
- Maximum age 59 at the time of application.
