- Operate Conair airtankers on wildfire suppression missions in Canada and abroad.
- Fly safe, precise profiles in complex terrain and variable conditions.
- Adhere to strict SOPs, safety management systems, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in initial and recurrent training to maintain currency and proficiency.
🌟 What you bring
- Right to work: Canadian citizen or legally entitled to work in Canada; able to obtain visas for international assignments.
- Residency: Willing to reside in Canada during the fire season.
- Licensing: Canadian ATPL preferred; exceptional CPL holders close to ATPL considered.
- Medical: Eligible for a Transport Canada Category 1 Medical Certificate.
- Minimum flight time: 2,000 hours total time; 1,000 hours PIC; 250 hours in mountainous terrain; recent flight experience within the last 12 months.
- Seaplane/Tailwheel (role-dependent): For seaplane or tailwheel aircraft positions, either 500 hours PIC on seaplane in a commercial operation or 200 hours on certified tailwheel aircraft is sought; lack of this experience will not preclude consideration for other roles.
- Documents: Valid Canadian driver’s licence and passport.
