Join a safety-first team flying more than 500 daily flights to 100+ destinations across the United States, Canada, the Caribbean, Central America, and Mexico. As a Frontier Airlines First Officer, you’ll deliver outstanding customer service while ensuring safe, compliant, and on-time operations.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Ensure safe, compliant, and timely flight operations in accordance with Company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
- Assume responsibility for aircraft operation during assigned duty periods unless relieved by Company authority.
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-flight inspections to verify aircraft airworthiness.
- Review current and forecast weather for departure, destination, and alternates; adjust plans as needed.
- Plan each flight for fuel, performance, and routing to ensure safe completion.
- Assist with and oversee handling of aircraft, passengers, baggage, and cargo at terminal points to support on-time departures.
- Notify crew and passengers promptly of turbulence, adverse weather, or other operational factors.
- Review the load manifest and verify passenger count prior to each departure.
🧰 What you’ll bring
- Flight time: 1,500 hours total (2,500 preferred); 750 hours multi-engine fixed wing (preferred); 500 hours PIC (preferred); 500 hours jet/turboprop (preferred).
- Medical: Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- License: ATP — Unrestricted.
- Radio permit: FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Travel documents: Valid U.S. passport (machine-readable) with ability to travel internationally, or valid foreign passport with authorization to work in the United States.
- Network access: Ability to travel in and out of all cities/countries served by Frontier Airlines.
- Mobility & schedule: Ability to relocate; willingness to work weekends, nights, holidays, overnights, and red-eyes.
- Systems: EFIS and FMS experience preferred.
- Communication: Excellent English skills (speak, read, write).
