Airline Captain – Dash 8 Q-Series

🧭 About the role

As a Dash 8 Q-Series Captain, you will command every sector with professionalism and precision. You’ll make sound operational decisions, mentor the flight deck team, and collaborate across departments to deliver a safe, efficient, and seamless journey for every passenger.

🧰 What you’ll do

• Captain the Dash 8 Q-Series in CARs 705 operations with an unwavering commitment to safety.
• Lead the flight deck, model effective CRM, and ensure strict adherence to SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Plan and execute each flight with a focus on passenger comfort and on-time performance.
• Assess weather, performance, and weight & balance to maintain safe operating margins.
• Coordinate with dispatch, maintenance, and cabin crew for smooth turnarounds.
• Complete all required flight documentation and reports accurately and promptly.
• Coach and support First Officers to foster a strong safety and performance culture.

🌟 What you bring

• License: Valid ATPL issued by TCCA
• Medical: Class 1 medical certificate
• Language: ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher
• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Clearances: Able to obtain and maintain all applicable transportation security clearances and required authorizations
• Type Rating: Not required — aircraft training provided (NTR welcomed)

🧩 Preferred experience

• Aircraft time: 500 hours on DHC-8 preferred
• Background: Previous airline experience is considered an asset
