✈️ Lead as an Airline Captain at ValueJet
Join ValueJet as a Flight Captain and take command from our Lagos base. You’ll be responsible for the safe, efficient operation of our aircraft, upholding the highest standards of airmanship, compliance, and passenger care on every sector.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Own the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft in accordance with aviation regulations and company SOPs.
- Lead pre-flight planning, fuel calculations, weather/NOTAM reviews, and flight briefings.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections and safety checks.
- Coordinate seamlessly with First Officers, cabin crew, dispatch, and ground teams to ensure on-time, safe departures.
- Navigate and manage all phases of flight, maintaining continuous communication with ATC.
- Exercise sound judgment in abnormal and emergency situations, safeguarding passengers and crew.
- Champion exceptional passenger service and a professional, safety-first cockpit culture.
🧰 Minimum qualifications
- Qualified on CRJ Series, Q400, or B737NG.
- Valid ATPL (ICAO) with a minimum of 4,000 total flight hours.
- At least 1,000 flight hours as PIC.
- Proficiency with modern aircraft systems, and advanced understanding of flight operations.
- Strong capability using aircraft navigation and communication systems.
