✈️ The opportunity
Solaseed Air is recruiting experienced Airline Captains to join its Boeing 737 fleet based at Tokyo Haneda Airport. This is a front-line command role for professionals with prior multi‑engine jet captaincy in regular airline operations, holding a valid ATPL and Class 1 Medical.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Lead safe, compliant, and efficient Boeing 737 operations across assigned routes.
- Exercise sound command decision-making and champion a strong safety culture.
- Manage and mentor the flight deck team; collaborate closely with cabin crew and operations.
- Adhere to company SOPs and regulatory requirements at all times.
- Maintain high standards of pre‑flight planning, fuel and performance management, and threat/error management.
🧰 What you’ll bring
- Proven experience as a Captain on multi‑engine jet aircraft with a regular airline.
- Valid ATPL (Regular Transport Pilot certificate).
- Valid Class 1 Aviation Medical Certificate.
- If aged 65 or over at the time of application, successful completion of the additional aviation medical examination.
- Must be 65 years old or younger at the time of employment.
- Valid Aeronautical Radio Operator’s License.
- B737 type rating is not required at the time of application.
- Availability to work irregular rosters, including weekends, public holidays, early mornings, and late nights.
🌐 Base & commuting
Captains are based at Tokyo Haneda Airport and should be willing to reside within a 55 km commuting distance from public transportation, or in designated areas near the following airports:
- Miyazaki, Nagasaki, Kumamoto, Oita, Kagoshima, Okinawa
- Kobe, Chubu, Fukuoka
- New Chitose, Asahikawa, Hakodate, Memanbetsu, Obihiro, Kushiro
- Sendai
