KM Malta Airlines (KMMA), the national carrier of the Maltese Islands, is inviting experienced Captains to join its Malta-based Airbus A320neo fleet. Fly scheduled passenger and cargo services across Europe on a young, single-type fleet while upholding the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

  • Base: Malta
  • Fleet: 8 × Airbus A320neo (single-type)
  • Network: 20 hubs across 18 European cities
  • Contract: Definite (fixed-term) or Indefinite
  • Licences accepted: EASA Part‑FCL ATPL or ICAO ATPL

🧭 The opportunity

As Pilot‑in‑Command on KM Malta Airlines’ A320neo fleet, you will lead safe, efficient flight operations across our European network from our Malta base. You will champion operational excellence, crew leadership, and customer care on every sector.

🧰 What you’ll bring

  • Valid EASA Part‑FCL ATPL or ICAO ATPL
  • Valid Class 1 medical certificate
  • Minimum English Language Proficiency Level 5 or higher
  • Minimum total time: 5,000 hours on CS‑25 aircraft
  • Minimum 1,500 hours as Pilot‑in‑Command (PIC)
  • A320 type rating is not required for application

Note: This posting welcomes non‑type‑rated Captains.

  • Serve as Captain (Pilot‑in‑Command) on KM Malta Airlines’ A320neo scheduled passenger and cargo services
  • Ensure the highest standards of flight safety, regulatory compliance, and operational performance
  • Lead and mentor flight and cabin crews, fostering a culture of professionalism and teamwork
  • Represent the national carrier with exemplary decision‑making and customer focus
