Bring your A320 expertise to Gulf Air as we expand our fleet from our Bahrain Headquarters. As a Direct Entry, Rated First Officer, you will operate to the highest professional and regulatory standards while supporting the Captain in flight management and decision-making.

🧭 Role overview

In this cockpit role, you will ensure safe, efficient operation of the Airbus A320 family, comply with all procedures, limitations and checklists, and confidently deputise for the Captain when required.

🧰 Key responsibilities

  • Operate the Airbus A320 in full compliance with professional, company and regulatory standards.
  • Support the Captain in flight planning, threat and error management, and in-flight decision-making.
  • Ensure strict adherence to operational procedures, limitations and checklists in accordance with the Operations Manual.
  • Deputise for the Captain when required to maintain safe and on-time operations.

🧠 Minimum requirements

  • ICAO-recognised ATPL (acceptable to the Civil Aviation Authority of Bahrain).
  • Experience (one of the following):
    • Minimum 1,500 total flight hours, including at least 250 hours on Airbus A320 family fly-by-wire and 500 hours on multi-crew jets; OR
    • Minimum 700 total flight hours, including at least 500 hours on Airbus A320 family fly-by-wire.
  • ELP Level 4 or above.
  • No accident/incident certificate.
  • Current ICAO-recognised medical certificate.
  • Rated on the Airbus A320 family (Direct Entry, Rated First Officer).

License required: ATPL_ICAO
