🧭 The Opportunity
As an A320 Captain, you will set the standard for operational excellence, safety, and service. You’ll lead from the front—making sound decisions, mentoring flight crew, and delivering a consistently smooth, on-time operation.
🧰 Minimum Requirements
- Total time: Minimum 3,500 factorized hours
- In type (A320): Minimum 500 hours actual flight time on Airbus A320 aircraft
- PIC on Airbus FBW: Minimum 1,000 hours actual flight time as PIC on Airbus A3xx full FBW aircraft
- Type rating: Airbus A320 — Required
Important: Simulator hours are excluded. PIC hours are actual PIC only and do not include PICUS.

- License required: ATPL
- Accepted licenses: EASA
- Medical: Class 1
- English language proficiency: ICAO Level 4 or higher
📘 Factorized Hours Explained
To assess commander eligibility, Wizz Air applies weighting factors to flight time categories. Your hours in each category are multiplied by the applicable factor, and the summed, factorized total is used to verify that you meet the minimum 3,500-hour requirement.
Notes: Simulator hours are not counted toward experience thresholds. PIC means time logged as actual commander and excludes PICUS.

- Lead safe, compliant A320 operations in accordance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements.
- Exercise sound judgment in flight planning, fuel, weather, and operational decisions.
- Foster strong crew resource management, mentoring and developing flight deck and cabin teams.
- Champion a just culture by participating in safety reporting and continuous improvement.
- Represent the airline with professionalism and customer-focused service.
