Airbus A320 Captain – Type-Rated (Permanent)

🧭 Your Mission

Command safe, efficient operations across the Airbus A320 family. You will lead the flight deck, champion SOPs and CRM, and deliver a smooth passenger experience while mentoring First Officers and upholding the highest professional standards.

• Operate the A320 family in full compliance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Exercise sound judgment and leadership in all phases of flight.
• Foster a safety-first culture through exemplary CRM and decision-making.
• Coach and mentor flight crew, supporting continuous improvement and standardization.
• Ensure precise flight planning, fuel management, and on-time performance.

🧰 Minimum Requirements

• Total time: Minimum 3,500 factorized hours (see notes below)
• In type: Minimum 500 hours actual flight time on Airbus A320 aircraft
• PIC in type: 1,000 hours (per Airbus A3xx full FBW PIC requirement; see notes)
• Type rating: A320 type rating required
• License: Valid ATPL issued by EASA
• Medical: Valid EASA Class 1 Medical
• Language: ICAO ELP Level 4+

📏 Flight Time Notes & Factorization

• Factorized hours: Minimum 3,500 factorized hours are required. Hours in each category are multiplied by operator-specific factors; the sum after factorization determines eligibility for command.
• Airbus A320 time: Minimum 500 hours actual flight time on A320 aircraft.
• PIC time: Minimum 1,000 hours actual flight time as PIC on Airbus A3xx full FBW aircraft.
• Exclusions: Simulator hours are excluded; PICUS does not count toward PIC hours.
• Note: This selection process applies the factorization method used for Commanders (as practiced by Wizz Air). Refer to the operator’s official policy for category factors.
