Step into command of the Airbus A320 Family with a Japan-based carrier focused on safety, precision, and professional excellence. This is a permanent, flight-deck leadership role with full type training provided for successful non-type-rated candidates.
✈️ Overview
We are inviting accomplished Captains with proven command time in Japan-based commercial airlines to join our A320 Family operation. You will lead safe, efficient, and passenger-focused flights while upholding the highest standards under JCAB oversight. If you are not A320 type rated, comprehensive training will be provided.
🧭 Your mission
- Assume command and ensure the highest levels of flight safety, regulatory compliance, and on-time performance.
- Lead, mentor, and collaborate with the flight deck and cabin crew, promoting effective CRM and a just culture.
- Execute company SOPs, manage fuel and performance, and make sound operational decisions based on weather, NOTAMs, and ATC constraints.
- Deliver a professional, customer-centric experience consistent with brand standards.
- Maintain personal currency and proficiency, meeting all training, checking, and documentation requirements.
🧰 Minimum requirements
- License: Valid JCAB ATPL
- Medical: Class 1
- English proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher
- PIC time: 500+ hours as PIC in a Japan-based commercial airline
- Experience: Previous experience with a Japan-based airline
- Type rating: A320 not required; training provided for successful candidates (NTR welcome)
- Work authorization: Ability to work without employer-provided visa sponsorship
