Lead safe, on-time operations with Global Crossing Airlines (GlobalX). As Captain on the Airbus A320 family, you set the tone for a one-crew, “we before me” culture—championing teamwork, humility, and authentic customer care that builds trust and loyalty on every flight.
🧭 Your mission
- Command safe, efficient, and timely operations for A320 family flights in accordance with company policy and all regulatory requirements.
- Lead the flight deck with professionalism and humility—cultivating a cohesive, one-crew experience across the cockpit and cabin.
- Exercise sound judgement in all phases of flight, prioritizing risk management, threat/error management, and robust decision-making.
- Communicate directly and authentically with customers and crew—demonstrating care, kindness, and respect.
- Foster a safety-first culture through disciplined checklist use, SOP adherence, and continuous improvement.
🧰 Minimum qualifications
- License: ATP (FAA)
- Medical: Class 1
- Certificates: Valid FCC Radiotelephone Operator Permit
- Regulatory: Must meet FAR 121.436 requirements
- Total Time: 4,000 hours
- PIC Jet Time: 1,000 hours as PIC under a 121 certificate or 1,500 hours as PIC under a 135 certificate
- Passport: Ability to maintain a valid passport
- Travel: Able to travel unrestricted to and from the United States
Note: Type rating not required — GlobalX provides A320 training for qualified candidates.
