Step into a modern flight deck and take command as a Direct Entry Captain on the Airbus A220. If you’re a proven Part 121 leader, this is your opportunity to bring your experience to a next‑gen narrow‑body—no A220 type rating required; training is provided.
🧭 What You’ll Do
As a Direct Entry Captain, you’ll set the standard for safety, leadership, and service from pushback to shutdown. You’ll lead a high‑performing crew, exercise sound judgment in dynamic operations, and deliver a stellar passenger experience on every leg.
🧰 Minimum Qualifications
- License: FAA ATP
- Medical: Class 1 (First Class)
- Total Time: 3,000 hours
- Pilot‑in‑Command (PIC) Time: 500 hours
- Multi‑Engine: 2,000 hours
- Turbine: 2,000 hours
- Type Rating: Not required (A220 training provided)
- Large Transport Experience: 2,000 hours total and 500 hours PIC in large, Group II transport category, fixed‑wing turbojet aircraft >41,000 lbs MTOW (Captain/Aircraft Commander of record)
- Currency: Actively flying two of the past five years; 500+ hours of Part 121 PIC within the last three years
Note: PIC is defined as Captain or Aircraft Commander of record, not solely the manipulator of the controls.

- Maintain pilot training history in accordance with the PRD
- Valid FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit
- Have or be able to obtain a valid U.S. driver’s license
- Have or be able to obtain a valid passport; able to travel unrestricted to and from the United States
- Pass a DOT pre‑employment drug test
- Pass a TSA fingerprint‑based criminal history records check and a Breeze background check
- Authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- High school diploma or equivalent educational achievement
