Aerial Survey Co‑Pilot (P2) – P68 – Liverpool

Employer: Ravenair  |
Location: Liverpool  |
Aircraft: P68  |
Role: P2 / Second-in-Command for aerial survey operations

✈️ About the role

Ravenair is recruiting motivated P2 Co‑Pilots to support professional aerial survey missions on the P68. As a P2, you’ll act as the second crew member alongside the Pilot in Command, managing advanced camera systems and mission workflow while building the skills and experience to progress to P1 line status—typically within around three months.

Note: On single‑pilot P68 operations, P2 time cannot be logged as flight hours; however, this role offers rapid progression and structured line training toward P1.

🧭 What you’ll do

  • Manage and operate the onboard aerial survey camera system to mission specifications.
  • Assist the Pilot in Command with all phases of flight and cockpit duties.
  • Sit in the cockpit during operations, supporting checklist discipline and situational awareness.
  • Maintain mission quality, communication, and coordination with the survey team.
  • Progress through line training toward P1 status.

🧰 What you’ll bring

  • Licence: CPL or above (ATPL welcomed) with a UK‑issued Flight Crew Licence.
  • Medical: Valid Class 1 medical with no OML restrictions.
  • Ratings: Previously held Single‑Pilot Multi‑Engine Instrument Rating and Multi‑Engine Piston (Land) rating.
  • Driving: Current UK driving licence.
  • Location: Able to live within 60 minutes of Liverpool (or willing to relocate).
  • Strong cockpit discipline, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach.

🌟 Progression & training

  • Structured line training pathway with the aim of achieving P1 status, typically in ~3 months.
  • Hands‑on exposure to professional aerial survey operations and mission management.
  • Mentoring and feedback from experienced Captains to accelerate your development.

📨 How to apply

Please submit your CV and a brief cover note outlining your licence, medical status, ratings (current or previously held), and confirmation you can live within 60 minutes of Liverpool. Include availability and any relevant aerial survey or multi‑engine experience.
