Aerial Firefighting Line Pilot (ATPL) – Canada

As a Line Pilot, you’ll operate specialized firefighting aircraft in dynamic environments, bringing technical precision, a safety-first mindset, and exceptional service to every mission.

🧭 What you’ll do

• Execute safe, efficient aerial firefighting operations in challenging and rapidly changing conditions.
• Conduct thorough preflight planning, performance calculations, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate closely with air attack supervisors, ground crews, and dispatch to deliver effective drops.
• Operate in mountainous and remote regions while maintaining strict adherence to company SOPs and regulatory standards.
• Champion Air Spray’s culture of safety, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain currency, technical proficiency, and readiness throughout the fire season.

🧰 What you bring

• Valid ATPL with a current Group 1 instrument rating.
• Total time: 2,000+ hours.
• PIC: minimum 1,000 hours.
• IFR PIC: minimum 500 hours.
• Where applicable, multi‑engine PIC: minimum 500 hours.
• Where applicable, valid Seaplane rating with 250 hours PIC.
• Demonstrated experience in mountain flying.
• Technically proficient or willing to undergo training.
• Deep commitment to safety and readiness to adopt Air Spray’s safety culture.
• Service-oriented mindset with a drive to go above and beyond for customer satisfaction.

Operations are primarily based in Canada, with deployments to wildfire events as required. Expect varied locations, dynamic tasking, and collaboration with interagency partners across provinces and territories.
