Prairie Dusters is seeking an experienced agricultural pilot to fly the Thrush 510G in support of growers across Manitoba and Saskatchewan. If you’re a precision-focused aviator with deep ag-time and a passion for safe, effective aerial application, we’d love to hear from you.

🧭 What you’ll do

  • Plan and execute precise aerial application missions in the Thrush 510G to support agricultural operations.
  • Conduct thorough pre-flight planning, weight and balance, performance calculations, and post-flight documentation.
  • Operate safely at low level with strong situational awareness, drift management, and adherence to label and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with ground crews for loading, mixing, fueling, and turnaround efficiency.
  • Use GPS guidance and application systems to ensure accurate coverage and record-keeping.
  • Communicate effectively with growers and team members to align on timing, fields, and application parameters.
  • Maintain compliance with Transport Canada and Manitoba/Saskatchewan pesticide regulations.

🧰 What you’ll bring

  • Canadian CPL (Aeroplane).
  • Minimum 1,000 total flight hours.
  • At least 1,000 hours of aerial application (ag) time.
  • 5+ years of agricultural flying experience.
  • Valid Manitoba and Saskatchewan Aerial Pesticide Applicator Licences.
  • Time on type (Thrush 510G) considered a strong asset.
  • Proficiency with ag GPS/guidance and flow control systems.
  • Excellent low-level handling skills, judgment, and safety mindset in dynamic field environments.
