Kinniburgh Spray is hiring an experienced agricultural pilot to lead safe, precise aerial spraying operations across Alberta’s farmlands. If you’re a tailwheel-proficient aviator with deep respect for regulations and the science of crop protection, this is your cockpit.
🧭 The Role
As our Agricultural Pilot, you will execute aerial application missions with precision, professionalism, and unwavering attention to safety and regulations. You’ll work closely with our team to protect crops and deliver consistent results for growers throughout Alberta.
🧰 What You’ll Do
- Conduct aerial crop spraying operations in alignment with label requirements and applicable regulations.
- Operate agricultural aircraft safely with strong tailwheel proficiency in diverse field and weather conditions.
- Perform thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure aircraft readiness and mission safety.
- Apply pesticides with accuracy, optimizing coverage and minimizing drift.
- Coordinate with the ground crew to support efficient loading, turnarounds, and mission planning.
🌟 What You Bring
- Flight Experience: Minimum 2,500 hours total time.
- Tailwheel Proficiency: Demonstrated, significant tailwheel time (required).
- Licensing: CPL (required).
- Certification: Alberta Aerial Applicators Pesticide License (required).
- Membership: Alberta Aerial Applicators Association membership (required).
- Training: Completion of an agricultural flight training course (required).
- Domain Knowledge: Background in pesticide use (preferred) and crop knowledge (preferred).
