A320 First Officer — 15‑Month Fixed-Term (Fly Jinnah, Karachi, Pakistan)

This fixed-term opportunity includes approximately three months of initial training followed by 12 months of flying duties. As First Officer, you will operate as Pilot Flying or Pilot Monitoring, support the Captain in managing the flight deck, and ensure all flights are conducted in accordance with the airline’s Operations Manual and applicable regulations.

🧭 What you’ll do

• Act as Pilot Flying or Pilot Monitoring and assist the Captain in managing all flight deck activities, monitoring flight progress and system performance.
• Conduct flights in full compliance with company OM and regulatory requirements, applying procedures that ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Coordinate preflight with the Captain and Dispatch to confirm aircraft technical status, route, weather, fuel, weight/balance, and duty allocation.
• Complete required checks, records, and flight documentation (e.g., take-off data, fuel requirements, ATS flight plan).
• Accurately record information in adopted systems and forms (log book, CFP), verify calculated vs. assumed data, and obtain Captain’s signature as required.
• At stations without qualified staff, verify fuel type and supervise fuelling to ensure correct distribution.
• Promptly alert the Captain to any irregularities or adverse conditions affecting safety and execute instructed actions; support the crew in any safety or security event.
• Undertake additional ground duties (e.g., Safety Officer or Security Officer) when directed by the Head of Flight Operations in line with Operations Manual Part A.

🧰 What you’ll bring

• A320 type rating (valid) is required.
• Minimum 700 hours total flying experience; A320 time preferred.
• Low-cost carrier experience is highly desirable.
• Eligible foreign nationals only; visa sponsorship provided.
• Solid industry knowledge of aircraft systems, operating procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Exposure to quality assurance, safety, security, and audit procedures affecting Flight Operations.

🌟 Contract and rewards

• Term: 15 months total (approx. 3 months initial training + 12 months flying), renewable by mutual agreement.
• During training (until Final Line Check): Net salary AED 12,853/month (stated ≈ US$3,500), prorated for partial months, plus per diem.
• After Final Line Check: Net salary AED 20,199/month (stated ≈ US$5,500) covering up to 60 block hours/month, plus per diem.
• Additional flying pay: AED 275 (stated ≈ US$75) per block hour above 60 in a month.
• Per diem: AED 184/day (stated ≈ US$50) for meals and incidentals; posting cites an average ≈ US$1,500/month.
