🧭 The opportunity
As an A320 Captain with Etihad, you’ll lead safe, efficient operations across our growing global network, setting the standard for operational excellence and delivering the warm, thoughtful service that defines the national airline of the UAE. You’ll mentor and inspire flight deck teams, support a strong safety culture, and help shape our next chapter of growth as we accelerate towards Journey 2030.
🧰 Minimum requirements
- License: Unrestricted and current ICAO ATPL
- Type Rating: Current on Airbus A320 family; rating valid for at least 2 months at time of joining
- Medical: Unrestricted and current Class 1
- English: ELP Level 4 or higher (written and verbal)
- Total Time: 5,500 hours
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 2,500 hours on multi-crew, glass cockpit aircraft (glass cockpit: aircraft with an FMS coupled to APFDS)
- PIC on Type: 1,500 hours on A320 family
- Currency: Flown A320 family within the last 12 months
- Age: Must not have attained 59 years on the day of joining
- Flight Time Credit: For flights with in-flight relief, 75% of total hours count toward the minima

- Instructor/Examiner: Current TRI/TRE on A320 is an advantage
