Join a Japan-based airline operation flying the Airbus A320 family on a permanent contract. We welcome experienced captains from Japan-based commercial airlines and provide full A320 type rating training for non-type rated pilots.
🧭 Role Overview
As A320 Captain, you will take command of scheduled commercial operations within Japan-based networks, ensuring safe, compliant, and passenger-focused flights. You’ll champion a strong safety culture, mentor flight deck teams, and uphold operational excellence across all phases of flight.
🧰 Minimum Requirements
- Command Experience: Minimum 500 hours PIC time.
- Japan Airline Background: 500+ hours PIC in a Japan-based commercial airline and previous experience with a Japan-based carrier.
- License: Valid JCAB ATPL.
- Medical: Current Class 1.
- Language: ICAO ELP Level 4 or above.
- Type Rating: Not required — A320 type rating training provided.
- Work Eligibility: No visa sponsorship available; you must already have the right to live and work in Japan.
🌟 Training and Onboarding
Non-type rated captains will receive a comprehensive A320 differences and type rating program, followed by line training and supervised operating experience tailored to Japan-based operations and procedures.
🧭 What You’ll Do
- Command A320 family aircraft across Japan-based routes with a safety-first mindset.
- Manage flight deck decision-making, fuel and performance planning, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead and mentor the crew to deliver a professional, passenger-centric operation.
- Maintain the highest standards in SOP adherence, SMS participation, and CRM.
📍 Location & Eligibility
- Base: Japan (operations with Japan-based airlines)
- Eligibility: Right to live and work in Japan is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
